There's no way you're getting caught here. You start walking in the opposite direction of the market, hoping you can find somewhere to shelter yourself.

After walking for a while, you notice a small hut on the edge of the woods. You see some clothes drying in the sun; some of them look like they might fit you. Perhaps you should steal them; it would make it easier to explore your surroundings.

But there's also a grove of trees behind the house. You could hide in there until nightfall, and then figure out what to do...
